All our new coaches are built on the heavy duty Ford E-450 chassis. Equipped with the powerful 6.8L V-10 gasoline engine and automatic five speed transmission, this drive line can keep the coach moving down the road without breaking its stride. This chassis also boast a heavy duty 14,500 GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating). Our design philosophy is to build the motorhome as light as possible without sacrificing strength or quality. When the coach weighs less, it has a better power to weight ratio and consequently better fuel economy and performance can be realized. A lighter weight coach combined with this heavy duty chassis also creates a healthy OCCC (occupant and cargo carrying capacity).
When purchasing a new coach it is important to understand the occupant and cargo carrying capacity. A marginal OCCC can limit the amount of occupants, food and gear you can carry on board.
